Adam Young is currently taking a break from Owl City to focus on his first musical love, original film scores. Inspired by the talent and prowess of John Williams, James Horner and others from a young age, Adam is releasing one score a month for the duration of 2016, drawing inspiration from important moments in world history and interpreting them through music. Past examples include RMS Titanic, Apollo 11, etc.

About the Contest:

To help provide a visual for his scores project, Adam Young is asking fans and aspiring filmmakers to create their own original short films to represent one to two of his scores released over the past year. Deadline for entry is 12/31/16.

How to Get Started:

1 / Create a short film between 5 and 10 minutes in length that utilizes at least one of Adam Young’s scores
2 / Upload the finished product to YouTube, adding (Adam Young Scores Short Film Contest) to the end of your title
3 / Fill out the entry form on ayoungscores.com/contest and agree to the contest terms and conditions
